It all started with the opening of Madame Moustache, a styled cabaret, a great selection at the bar and a wooden dancefloor fitting 350 people until the break of dawn. The Twist was the first opening party of the venue and became a regular night since then.

Brussels can count on many tasteful soul connaisseurs, DJs and record collectors. Just straight music loving people all about sharing those hot and sweet grooves. Dedicated to the roots of US black music, every edition is a communion of smiling faces, snapping fingers and dancing people. The first editions saw their own exclusive compilation cd pressed and given out to the first 100 people. Each cd was curated by the guest-dj of the night, compiling his favorite 45s onto one limited disc.

From January on the Twist are turning into solo allnighters by yours truly. A real allnighter meaning 8 hours straight like your life depends on it. That's how it goes. Deep and wide.
