The Nom d'Oiseau parties started end of February at Madame Moustache (Brussels). From the ashes of the infamous Cheeba Cheeba parties, here is Nom d'Oiseau, a night of toughest grooves and illest moves. Three DJs spreading the love for funky grooves plus a guest vocalist doing his thing : a simple formula for maximum effect. Organic boogie, banging funk, erotic dubswing, dynamite disco, raw tropical sounds... Or how to cover a century of dancefloor music, back from the 50s into the future.

About the DJs, the team consists of Alex Deforce (Cheeba brother and main man behind On Point Records), Jazz Neversleeps (wet fingers DJ and producer extraordinaire) and yours truly aka Funky Bompa. Guests vocalist for the first night was the one and only JtotheC (Cheeba brother, the hardest working man in show bizness, the godfather of funk, the original Jesus Christ). An amazing experience soon to be continued.
